DRM Dead

In my previous post, I spoke of the death of DRM in 2008 but what I didn’t predict was when. Today, SONY BMG announced plans to finally sell their artist’s music DRM free (via Gizmodo.) This is big news for the music industry and I’m ecstatic because the customer is finally getting the rights they’re paying for (though sometimes, not necessarily deserve.)
